Getting started…..
The Control Panel
The control panel is situated within My Gaming Eye. This is where, you, as a customer can view and edit your own personal details, view and edit all your adverts, and the items you have bought. In order to do any of these things just click on your choice of the following named tabs:
View, List or Edit your Advert (you will also find buyers information here)
View Bought History (view your purchased items)
Selling an Item
Advertise your product…..
You create a New Advert by pressing on the Sell tab or the View, List or Edit you Advert tab.
Then click the Create a New Advert tab.
You will see the first page of two containing information on advertising a gaming product. On this page you can enter the name of your product you want to advertise. (For multiple adverts of the same item, each live item must have its own name. E.g. If you list a ‘Xbox Console’ and then wish to list another Xbox Console, identical to the first, then you must use a different name for the second item ie. Xbox Console 1. No two items can be entered with the same name when they are live adverts but if the first advert has ended then the name can be used again.
Payment
There are 4 different ways you can receive payment for an item you have sold. These are via PayPal, by cheque, postal order or cash.

If using PayPal please make sure you enter your correct PayPal email address.
Images
Your images are free.
After selecting your payment option and choice of images click on Click here to create Advert and then make your choices using the following headings:
Category – Select a category that best describes your gaming product.
Sub Category – Select a Category unique to your Gaming Product. (Please make sure you advertise your item in the correct category, categorising a product wrongly may result in no buyers.
Destination– Select the country/countries you wish to send your gaming product to or no selection for pick up only.
Parcel Type, Delivery Options and Charges – Place a '0' in the weight field and click on Calculate Cost and Delivery Options.Then select a Delivery Options from the drop down menu. You can now place an amount within the Delivery cost you wish to charge field.
You must be fair and accurate when selecting the postage amount. If you allow for oversees postage then write that information clearly within the Description Field and state that there may be an extra charge.
Description – Use the Description field to best describe your gaming product. Be honest, fair and accurate with your wording. Use the different Styles, Fonts and Sizes to optimise and enhance your advert. E.g. PlayStation 2. Great working condition though does have a ‘scratch’ to the front. Buyer must collect London area. Cash on collection.
Image Upload – Upload images to capture your Gaming Product. Multiple and clear images are likely to attract more buyers.
Duration – Set at 10 days for all adverts.
Buy it Now Price – The amount you would like to sell your item for.
When you are ready to advertise your Gaming Product click Submit.
Buying an Item
Finding what you want
There are many ways to search for the gaming product you want. Clicking on Buy will take you to the Live Advert page. You will view every live advert on The Gaming Eye. Live adverts ending soon are situated at the top of the first page.
Click on the Browse Categories tab to locate the gaming product you are looking for
When you select a live advert you will see the item, description of the item, running time, shipping cost and buy now price.
The Gaming Eye is designed to be a new and exciting live classifieds experience, giving you control. Use the 'contact seller' button to negotiate the price, if you can!
Information for the Seller &Buyer
The advert ended, using Paypal!....
As soon as the advert has ended the site will automatically generate the Pay Now button for the buyer to pay for the item they have just won. Alternatively you can also pay for your item by clicking on the Bought history tab. All methods of payment used other than PayPal are used at the seller’s discretion.
The buyer has 7 days to pay for the item they have won. Once the payment has been received the seller has 7 days to send the won item to the buyer. We do ask that all transactions are completed as soon as possible to allow a smooth friendly transaction between both the seller and buyer.
Review/Rating
We ask that rating the seller this is done fairly and in a constructive manner. Please rate users promptly and accurately, in a concise manner, describing the product, transaction, and communication. Use the number rating system 1 being poor and 10 being exceptional for your overall experience. E.g. 1st August 2012. Great experience, product as described, great communication and fast postage. A pleasure doing business. You must rate the buyer/seller after any transaction!
